1. What is SSL?
***Secure Socket Layer. It is a transmission protocol.
2. What is the use of SSL?
***It encrypts the transmission of your data so it is not seen as clear test over the network or internet. It makes your data safe.
3. How to Configure SSL on Portal?
***There are tones of instructions over at http://help.sap.com Pick your flavor or netweaver and search on it. There are also some VERY good blogs here on SDN as well.
