Hello,
Is there a way to copy the SQVI query set up under one ID into another ID? Or, can another person access the SQVI and run it if it is set up by somebody else under a different ID? Or does one need to set them up afresh completely?

I guess its not possible with SQVI, you can pick the back-end code which generates the SQVI output and assign it to a Transaction and that Tr. can be used by different ppl...

Go to SE93, create a parameter transaction to transaction START_REPORT, and parameters: D_SREPOVARI-REPORTTYPE=AQ; (For querys) D_SREPOVARI-REPORT=/SAPQUERY/T2G (Your Query)]
