Sql duration

Hi all,

I just start to work with abap. I want to know if exist a transaction to see the sql duration and performance, or compare two sql performance. In sap academy i saw one transaction like this, but i dont remeber.

Hi ,

se30 is the transaction that you are looking for.

If you click on the Tips and Tricks button, you will get a split editor, wherein you can execute and compare two codes.

Hi

you can use st05 to find the performance of each select.

u can use se30 - runtime analysis to find which part of your code is taking more time.

using st05:

activate the trace --> execute the program --> deactivate the trace --> display trace.

then go to Tracelist --> Summarize trace by SQL statements.

here u can analyse performance of all the selects.

If you want to compare the duration by the selects in your prog itself then use: GET RUNTIME statement.
