Hi Experts,

I want to upload data for TCode ME41 by using eCATT TCD recording method. For this i have Created Test Scripts, Created Test Data Containers,Created System Data Containers,Created Test Configurations.

I have a legacy file to upload the data.Where i need to assign or specify my legacy file to upload the data. Let me know where i need to specify the file name & how to upload it.

Plz help me its really urgent one.while executing its showing error "Error in eCATT function TCD ME21 & E00055 Make an entry in all required fields"..

Help me....

this error means u just skip one field in recording of me41.

1.when u open transaction SCAT

2.SELECT UR TEST CASE NAME.

3.WHEN U EXECUTE IT.

4.IT GOES TO THE ANOTHER SCREEN

5.IN THIS SCREEN THERE IS OPTION FOR SELECT FILE

Hi Kishan,

I am not using CATT. I am using eCATT (Extended CATT).

i want to specify the file in eCATT...plz let me know where i have to specify the file to upload the data.

Hi ,

Please choose your test case for your object

Click on execute and in the next screen you would see a tab with name Variants

.Click on external from file and choose the button next to it to define the path to your legacy file.

One more Note : make sure the legacy file fields value match the file format for the SCAT.

To get the exact file format it would be best if you would create one manually and then download the file from the SCAT. This file would then be your reference structure for the legacy file structure.
