Hi All
I am on a upgrade project. can any one suggest me how it works with above transaction. before i decide to develop or copy any program i want to know if i have to finish the corrections and modifications or i can do program by program
Like finishing in spau then checking the program then develop the necessary enhancements then come to next program.
Please excuse if this is a very silly question as i am very new to this.
Thanks
Ritika

This is wrong.
SPDD is running during the upgrade and you will be prompted for it somewhere in Phase Group: Shadow System Operations: SPDD and Activation

This is also wrong.
You get SPAU in every system, but usually you only make modification adjustments in the first system you have upgraded. That could be a sandbox (or a DEV). Everything you adjusted there you try to gather in one single transport request which you can subsequently import into all the other target systems.
Maybe you might want to read the documentation on help.sap.com before you get any more 'hints' here ...

you have no idea what you are probably advising here ... and yes - I have now hit the 'abuse button' on this.

Hi Ritika,
It is mandatory to run and adjust the objects in SPDD and SPAU after UPGRADE or Support pack upgrade.
After adjusting only you have to test or do some other activities on your application.
If the object is showing in SPAU or SPDD and if you are not adjusting that then all your customer modifications to that standard program will lost and standard program and which SAP is delivered will active in your system.
So please Adjust your objects in SPAU and SPDD first.
Let me know if there are any doubts.
Thanks
Naresh
