HI all,

While doing SPAU corrections, what actually we are doing with Reset of objects?

what will happen with Reset of object.

Can anyone clarify the above doubt?

thanks

I believe you are removing the history of modifications to the object. The result is that in the next support package or upgrade SPAU would not see that object as being modified.

If you do not reset the object nothing happens unless you re-modify it. In otherwords, the new unmodified object is current but also the modification history can be viewed.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Pat,

I am upgrading SAP4.6c to ECC5.0.

Using this SPAU to reset the standard object.

If we reset this standard object, then this object goes to new version with the changes done in older version or does it get deleted and the new version object comes into this place in ECC5.0?

can u clarify this?

thanks
