SPAU process - Search Help Append

In transaction SPAU 4 Search Help Appends are reported as different ...during upgrade.
All of these have a switch ( Switch Framework ) and are in status OFF and as long as all are off you can't activate them after SPAU adjustment.
Search Help Appends are active but also switched off in the subsequent systems.
Does anyone know correct SPAU procedure to get these activated and transported?
