Dear Experts,
While applying patchs by BASIS people, they got SPAU warning.
i.e. some programs were not modified automatically.
So, it say (warning window) you to login to SPAU T-code and apply modifications.
BASIS people ignored that warning and continued with patch application.
Now, we need to apply the modifications manually by going to SPAU.
i have no idea about SPAU.
it is showing in split screen, saying that left side is with new modification.
and on right side the old one(which is to be modified).
I request you to give your input in understanding this SPAU, and
procedure to accecpt those modification.
and Why this is necessary.

Hi Prabhu,
Its easy to work in SPAU. Execute SPAU u can see the old and new version of the object. compare both if u feel both are same then make it "Reset to Original".
if u find differences you have to analyse it.

I happend to see some difference in Split screen mode.
I'm confused in accepting modification.
wht will happend to the old one ?
will this kind of modifications has any disadvantage ?
if any disadvantages, wht kind of problems we expect ?
How to be on safe side ?
