Dear All,
Currently we are upgrding erp6 to ehp 5.
We are doing SPAU adjustment.
We have the following confustion in "With Modification Assistant"
There are some programs in which we have made changes as per suggested by SAP Notes. Thease all are statutory related changes.
It shows some difference in new EHP5 code and old version ERP6 when we click "Yellow Icon".
As we have made this changes as per SAP Notes, will we have to incorporate changes into new one ?
Thanks and Regards,
Nirav

Hi
Probably you implemented the SAP notes manually (not by SNOTE transaction) with Modification Assistent.
So now the SPAU are showing you the standard programs changed: it can't know you changed the programs in order to implement some note, it can only know the standard program was changed.
Now you need to know which is the patch level of your upgrated system, if the level is higher than level of those notes, you don't need to do any modifications, because those probably are just included in the new release.

Nirav,
I slightly have a different opinion here. I think here you may have to do the following analysis.
Since you are saying, the traffic light is yellow (yellow icon), i believe it tells you that some kind of manual activity/analysis is needed in this.
And normally any oss notes which are already implemented & which are part of the upgraded release (in your case EHP5) will give you green traffic light in SPAU, so that, people can choose 'Reset to original' It will accept the upgraded version which has these oss notes.
But in your case, since it shows yellow light, that shows the implemented oss note patch level is above EHP5 (in your case) and some manual intervention is required . So you have to check whether you still need these oss notes. If yes, ideal way is to do 'Reset to original' and then reimplement the oss note/do the manual step if any. In some cases, 'Adopt modification' can also used, provided the differences does not have any significant impact. (like comments etc.)

Gokul
