Sorting internal table records

Hi friends,

i want sort the internal table field records,

Eg: in itab have 4 fields,

like field1,field2,field3,field4.

in the field2 have some records, like

MCPUR,

MCRAW,

MCMOH,

MCRAW,

MCRAW,

MCPUR,

LOPCK.

After sort get this like

MCPUR

MCPUR

MCRAW

MCRAW

MCRAW

MCMOH

LOPCK.

(Note: the records are fields of another internal table(itab2))

Hi Venkat,

Someone may confuse seeing our names Dude but definitely i am not you and you are not me.

Coming to your issue try to check SORT keyword with F1 help in ABAP editor.

explain clearly abount your note message. Use sort syntax by req_field.

SORT ITAB by FIELD2.
