Gurus ,

i have gone through but still i could not solve the problem .

The default domain is set

code page is set

but i am not sure why is this problem still persisting . help me solve this

the problem is i am unable to send mails

this is the error message i get , when i traced the log in SCOT

"

Internal error: SO_OBJECT_MIME_GET Exception: 2

Message no. XS829

Answer is pure assumption.

Pls check OSS note

Note 487754 - Error sending mail: SO_OBJECT_MIME_GET

Pls take opinion from SAP / Basis team, if you want to implement the note

we have relayed the IP in exchange server and alsi i alreay took a look into 487754

I have configured all of them , but still the problem persists

In tc:SMICM when i click GOTO->HOST NAME BUFFER ->DISPLAY ,

i can see the IP of the exchange server , but icon is Yellow in coluor

what does that mean

please help me to solve this

Go into transaction SCOT and then click on Settings->Default Domain. Enter your domain and then click on the green check.

This resolved the error in my case.
