SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1

This function module SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 can be used to send external emails and attachments including excel files.

The data is to be store in the table parameter i_objbin internal table. Now the data type for this parameter is solisti1, and the line field in this data type is of 255 characters. So I"m facing problems if I have more than 255 characters in one line in my excel file. Is there anyway to accomodate more than 255 characters in the field. or is there any other FM which can help transmit more than 255 chars in a single line.

I couldn't under stand your problem. But I believe if you get the data from excel into an internal table and the use the function module CALL

FUNCTION 'TABLE_COMPRESS'

which will comperess the data in your format.

Also check the possibilities of FMs

SO_RAW_72_TO_255 
SLVC_C1022_TO_C255
