Hi all,
I am sending an mail through SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 but when i am keeping the same person mail id([email protected]) in TO and CC , i am able to get the email id in my inbox either in TO or CC but not in both TO and CC .
can you please explain why this FM SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 is not allowing in TO and CC .

Maybe the classes (and the function module) are written so that you can't CC and TO the same person. I'm puzzled as to why you'd want to.

I seem to recall that if you have someone in to and cc, then it's just automatically put to "to".
In any case, I strongly recommend you abandon this function module and instead use the well-documented cl_bcs class and other associated classes. There are many blogs, wikis and articles about these classes on this site already.

Hi Matthew,
Thanks for your response.
I mentioning the same mail address in TO and CC as you said it is automatically put TO ,
But is there any method to put both in TO and CC using SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 FM.
or do i need to go CL_BCS class.

Hi arpit,
only CL_BCS is supported. Try method CL_BCS->ADD_RECIPIENT to add recipients
Use parameters accordingly:
I_RECIPIENT Recipient of Message
I_COPY Send Copy
I_BLIND_COPY Send As Blind Copy
As far as I know, this helps.

Hi Clemens,
Thanks for your replay.
If i mention the recipient and send copy same mail address in SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 , the mail will be triggered with either recipient or send copy not both . can i know the reason for it.

Hi ALL ,
Still the problem exists after using CL_BCS .
I am trying using CL_BCS for sending the mail but if i mention TO and CC the same mail address
then it will take the first one TO but i want the mail address to available in both in TO and CC .
can i know how to send the mail containing the same mail address both in TO and CC .
REGARDS
ARPIT
