SMTP connection error

Hi,

Getting error message "Message cannot be transferred to node SMTP due to connection error(final)" while trying to broadcast BW report attachment to my email. I verified router connection no failures. I tried test email to my email id, but I haven't received yet. Please tell me step by step to trouble shoot this issue.

You have to check transaction SCOT.

Check the smtp gateway(mail host), the domain, and the range( adress area )

I checked smtp gateway, domain and range in SCOT, everything looks fine.

Hi srinivas,

1. You may have to take help of basis team.

2. Some settings in SCOT are very important for sending mail.
