SMTP Configuration

I have done the SMTP Configuration for my SAP System. Yet i am not able to send any mails from SAP System to my mail id or any other id for that matter.

It gives the following Error message:

**Currently no delivery to <email address>, as recipient cannot be reached**

While configuration of SMTP we have to create a Service user.

While creating the same, whether we have to choose "Remote mail" or "E-Mail" against the 'Comm. method' under the 'Addres Tab' ???

Hi,

There can be many reasons:

1. Check with ur admin whether any firewall is set.

2. Check ur mail server config, in SCOT.

3. Chek if active internet connection is there in server side

etc..

Regards,

Renjith Michael.
