Smartforms output not proper

Hi,

I have created a smartform.It was working fine in the print preview and when i took the printout also its coming properly.But after this i added a logo in it and it was very exactly coming in smartform print preview.But when i give print it is not coming.

In SPAD the device type was HPDJ660..But its printing all other values properly,but wheni try to print after giving logo means its not coming.

In SPAD when i give the device type as SWIN the logo is printed but the alighnment of the form was totally damaged..

So ther are number of device types,I dont know which to selct and check it out.Can any body give the solution for this issue and help me

Hi Mahesh,

In SPAD please try:

Leave device name blank and click on "Display". A list of output devices will appear. Choose the one you picked before (SWIN), click on it and a new screen will appear. This screen will have a "Format" button on the top, click on it. You will then see a list of page formats that the printer setting is capable of printing. Check the page format you used for the form and see if it is in the list. Usually, when it is not in the list, the output alignments are messed up.

Check lp01 as ouput device and check it out, or else activate the forms whenever you made the changes,

Hi Mahesh it a guess but not sure.

Logo which you have uploaded in SE78 might be a dull image or its intensity might be too low. Make sure the logo is not compress while you upload from SE78 and then reinsert new logo in your smartform and check.Ask your system admin to check the out device configuration too so that if there is any loop wholes in the out devices may also lead to this sort of problems.
