hi everyone,

can anybody tell me how to print horizontal and vertical lines in smartforms without using table but using text.

the following fields must be in a table format with rows and columns

general employercontribution grandtotalpayroll wagedesc

with four rows and six columns

Hi,

You can use underscore '_' or Hypen '-' under the field required and when it is printed it will look as it is requited.

or you can do is that on the condition that before printing the total you can print this line using underscore '_' or Hyphen '-'.

If you don't want to use the table , u can go for the template.

can't you?

If you don't want template , you do the following steps.

1. Create one text node.

2. Go to Output Options of the text node.

3.Select the check box of Line and Check the 'Always draw box and shading'.

4. In the same way you can create more number of text nodes side by side so that it will look likes a table only.
