how to convert a smartform to sapscript

and convert the sapscript to smartforms.

and regarding converting smartforms i dont think we can convert them back to sap script ..

Hi

In SMARTFORMS trx there's a functionality to convert a sapscript to smartform (see the Utilities in menu).

That tool converts only the output, so after it needs to add all abap code of the sapscript program.

I don't know (but I don't believe) there's a chance to convert a smartform to sapscript.

The Following are the differences :-

a) Multiple page formats are possible in smartforms which is not the case in SAPScripts

b) It is possible to have a smartform without a main window .

c) Labels cannot be created in smartforms.

d) Routines can be written in smartforms tool.

e) Smartforms generates a function module when activated.

Hi John,

U can convert a sapscript to a smartform by migration.. but vice versa is not possible i believe..as smartform is the later version of document design in SAP.

In SMARTFORMS Tcode there is Utilities-->Migrate SAPscript form.

Click that & you can do the conversion.
