SmartForms:BarCode Code39-Extended with in SE73 ?

Hi,

I want to create BarCode <b>Code39 extended</b> on smartforms. The old barcode technology coming default in SAP can allow me(just by choosing C39X as bar code type). But they are not device independent and has a lot to do in configuration (modifying control sequences) for each device types( like SAPWIN, HPLJ4000, HPLJIIID etc). I am using <b>R/3-4.6C</b> version

That is why i want to use New Bar Code technology where in one can jus create new one and use.

However there are only 5 types of symbologies (Code39, Code93, Code 128, PDF 417 and Interleaved 2of5).

<b>Can anybody know how do we create Code39 Extended in SE73 or any other way ?</b>Anticipating the reply at the earliest.

Hey Appana, thx for replying. It was helpful, but not enuf. I want to create Code39Extended with New Bar Code Technology. This is the reason i do not want to go for old technologies since it involves too many intricacies of configuring device types. I want to create new Code39Extended(by creating in SE73). Is there a way to create it by SE73 ?
