i've created a smartstyle in which i've created only a paragraph format with font-family-DBGOTHIC, font-size-24 pt. and font-style-bold. then i've created a text node in a secondary window. i tried giving this smartstyle to the content written in the text node. but the problem is that i donot see any changes at all. wheras if i assign this same smartstyle to a text node under a table cell of the table node in the main window it works.

Priya,

1. If you can select your custom defined style from the pc editor ( text editor ), then certainly the settings in your style are applicable.

2. Navigate your line editor and check the tag column ( the one on the left side ) and make sure that formatting is right.

3. If still you don`t get the desired results, call your smartform from your abap editor. It should work, bcoz some changes are not effective when you choose a print preview from smartforms tcode.

Reward points if helpful.
