HI,

i've downloaded smartform in xml fromat and when am uploading it showing error invalid file format and namespace error.

some body help on this.

I think you might have downloaded a standard SAP form. While uploading you can only upload custom forms.

One way to get around it is

1. Open your XML file in notepad

2. Replace all occurrences of name of smartform with your custom name.

3. Save your XML file

Then try uploading it.

Let me know if it works or in case you had any other issue.

are you trying to downlaod and upload the xml file in same SAP systems (or) in a different one ?

If you are trying to upload the xml file in a different system, check the Version difference of the SAP systems and also the Unicode compatiblity.

HI Naveen,

                Pls check the system versions  of your systems from which you are are downloading or                   

                uploading systems,Error raises if the  both are two diffrent system versions as Ecc 6.0

                and  4.7 as such.

               The versions has to be same .
