Smartform, SD invoice problem

I have made changes in the SmartForm , for SD invoice , But when i run VF03 to see the print Preview i get a message "Output Could not be issued".

erlier it was coming , but now it is showing this message

Are u trying for the same invoice number or changed the invoice number .

If u have changed to a new invoice number

again set the output type and then process it .

this error is prone when the output type for that invoice is not configured .

See when you are running the VF03 for seeing the print preview you have to do

Billing documents-->issue output to --> printer / screen

Now this is possible when the output type is already allotted for that .

For this check the navigation

Goto VF02 -> enter the invoice number , hit enter, from the Second screen

Goto>Header>output--> will land you to a table control screen.

Now here u need to give the output type and enter give the printer name in logical destination, and save.

Now do the Billing documents>issue output to->screen--> output type as 'ZXXX'

.and execute .

For output types please check in tcode nace.

hi nau,

i faced similar problem when i developed some SD forms.

the reason is because of the recent changes you have made . may be some window size got increased or column size overlapped. this is due to some errors in smartforms which are not detected at the time of activation but when the smartform is executed at this time such thing throws exception.

you need to either reverse your changes or look for any overlapping or window sizes.

Hi Nau,

when ever you devolop a new form frist thing is it should be activated or when u have made some changes to the existing form check weather the already you have triggered the output type and they are in processing status once the status is in green the you can retrigger the same output type and chech or trigger the output type and check the processing log what it gives you the message so that you can be very clear is it a problem with the form which you have made changes or it about the output type
