Hi Friends,
I was given a logo in .tiff format.I converted into .bmp and imported in SE78 and displayed in smartform.
But the logo is not clear when it is transported and seen in other server.is it due to resolution problem?...How to solve this ..when the logo looks different from one system to other system...
Thanks in Advance..

Hi Jak,
You could use the same .tiff format in smartforms. Any special reason for converting it to .bmp?

Anjali

Hi Anjali Devi ,
I think before displaying the logo in smartforms,we have to import that logo in SE78.So in SE78 we can import only .BMP files.Am i right?
Is possible including logo in smartforms by running the standard pgm RSTXLDMC which talkes only .tiff files?
Thanks in Advance.

Hi jak,
It may depend on your printer settings and your image resolution.
Set your image to a good DPI.

Wenceslaus.

Hi Jak,
As far as I know RSTXLDMC can be used to upload .tiff files. Close the .Tiff file completely before uploading.

Hi Wenceslaus G ,
shall we have to give default image resolution(which we have option smartforms in general attributes tab) ie.000..DPI..I think Actually this option is for size increasing and decreasing...of logo

Hi jak,
You can put your image in printer memory if you want while uploading and remove compression.
Set the resolution to a higher one. If your image is having a good resolution then it is ok. Else set a resolution of 100 DPI or better.

Hi Jak,
Did u do like this:
- In Smart Forms Editor, In left pane, right Click any Page (say Page1) and select Create -> Window, Give it a name and Description (Say Window1)
- Right Click on Window (Window 1) and select Create -> Graphics, Give it a name and description
- In general Attributes, Select Name, get search help (F4) , you will find a list of pictures
- Select any picture and set its Resolution in DPI
- Press F9 to open Smart Forms Builder, Select window (Window1) and In Output options window set, size and position of the Logo
- Set any other parameters if required, save and activate.
-If there is only 1 Window in the forms, set it as Main Window in general attributes.
thanks,
