SMARTFORM issue after upgrading to ECC6

Hi SDNers,

After upgrading to ECC6 we found that a mail with a SMARTFORM as attachment is not sent. We have analyzed the print program and form but we didnt find the a function module to send a mail.

Is possible another way to send a smartform as attachment?

I found SSFCOMPOP structure which have a new field called COMMIT_WORK. So we added this field to the print program but it didnt work neither.

Anyone knows which could be the reason whiy the form is not sent now?

Hi Leandro,

If you are sure that there is no function module call inside the print program and also there is no other stand alone report to send smarforms output in the form of attachment through mails. Then I can assume that a Work flow might have been set up for doing the same thing. I don't think there is any other way to do this.

I will suggest the following steps you can take to rectify this error :

i) Check that user's email is properly maintained in SU01.

ii)Check the program / custom fm which actually sends the mail with the attachment though a print prog / workflow.

iii)Contact basis to check the configuration of SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) through tcode SCOT.

Hi,

If you are sending PDF as an attachment with a mail than plz check PDF settings in SAP as same might have got changed.
