Folks,

I have a Smartform whose original language is FR.Now I have to change some hardcoded texts in EN and IT. People suggested instead of changing in the Smartform, I need to change it in SE63.

If we change in SE63, will it reflect in the Form or do we need to directly check the print preview.

Is there any table which can provide us the info regarding the link betweem Output Type and Company Code ?

Hi Kiran,

did you try to translate a single word and then check the smartform AND the preview to see the result?
It will give you all the answers to your question.

About your second question, what are you trying to achieve? Which print are you talking about?

It depends what means "hardcoded text" ?

Anyway, testing quickly the print preview should be enough.

As Simone, I don't understand the second question too.

If your 'harcoded texts' refers to the actual text inside of text nodes, yes, you can use SE63, don't forget to add the target languages in the general attributes of the form.

If you connect in the target language, you will see the translated texts in the SMARTFORMS transaction.

Your second question seems to be related to Customizing, so depends on module/application involved. (No absolute answer, from NACE to SPRO, there are some/many transactions/tables to check)
