Smartform, blank line inbetween TWO include texts

IN SMARTFORMS ,

I have to include a blank line inbetween two consecutive include texts.

Please help me.

If u r printing them in a table then, create one more text node between the two text nodes in the output options of this new node check new line..

Or u can put some blank lines in the first text node..

Its just a window with few include texts.

I need to have a blank line in a include text Preferably, please help.

You can print the two text in different Windows or

u can ut some extra line breaks in the first text node only..

the include text doesnt allows any line break and yeha i cant use two windows too.

Do you have two seperate text nodes for the Include texts?

If so, just insert a new text node inbetween the other two and put in a carriage return.

In your newly added text node, make sure you click the 'New Paragraph' radio button, then click in the text area and add a blank line (hit enter).

Make sure to change the Text Type to 'Text Element' first.

Hi,

If u want a blank line between two tests in a include Text then it is not achievable...INCLUDE print the text as it is in TEXT u r refering.

If u can access print program or write routine and use READ_TEXT FM and insert a blank line for each line and use SAVE_TEXT FM to save as standard text.

then ur include prints Blank line between 2 texts or lines.

Dear Matt this will not help my issue, i need a blank include text ONLY.

See for Eg, i have four include texts, inbetween each of these i put a text element as you said, then even if i am not printing anything in my second include text,this text element will be printed with a blank line,

Now as per this condition, there are two blank lines inbetween my first and third include text.

This is not right logically, In any case i need one and only one Blank line,

I hope i have made my issue more clear.

Please help me in getting a Blank Include Text.

In that case you can insert a Program Lines node before all of your text nodes.

In the Program Lines use FM READ_TEXT to see if your 3 texts exist.

If the first text exists set flag1, if second text exists set flag2, if third text exists set flag3.

Now for the text nodes that give the blank lines, under the Conditions tab give condition if flag# = 'X'.

Hi Roshan,

Just add another dummy Text field in between the two texts. Create a 'Text' with no data. Hope this helps!

just create another text between two include.then press space bar key from the begining of the new text to the end of the text
