Smartform Alignment issue

Hi,

I have a smartform for remmittance invoice. This smart form is attached to the transaction and when i run the transaction then this smartform automatically goes to PDF file. Now, when I give printer as LP01 then Footer appears normally and well alligned. But when I give Local Printer for this then Footer don't appear as alligned and also it appears in Bold.

I need to overcome this issue for Local printer. May I know what exact changes I need to do for Local Printer and How ?

Also, without changing printer setting can I achieve this by doing changes in Smartforms and how?

Many Thanks.

Hi,

Please enter your output device name in the T-Code SPAD , I think there you can control the device settings. Hope this helps.

As soon as you enter the T-Code yoy will be having a tab named Device Attributes, There give your prefered settings. Also check for other settings.

Hi Satish,

Thanks for the reply.

In SPAD, If i'll make same setting for my Local Printer in the tab Device Attributes and AccessMethods which is there for LP01. After changing this should solve my problem, right?

Without changing Printer Settings you cannot achieve this. Once one Print/Print Preview is triggering fine means there is no issue in Form Design.

In this case may be the issue is While assigning the Font Families to Printer Output Device some Print control issue is there.  You can check this Font Family assignment to a Printer Output Device in SE73. if required try to adjust this.

Thanks,

Venkatmani.
