I have a small doubt for what is main diff. between MSG type and IDOC type..?

Hi,

- message type describes the message itself and does not change with any revision

- IDoc type may change after some time (e.g. MATMAS01 / MATMAS02 / ... / MATMAS05) and may loose or get some fields. But all these revisions of IDoc types belong to 1 message type.
