Is there a way to allow a user to change the class on their jobs?

You'll need to give them access to auth object S_BTCH_ADM.

If I give them S_BTCH_ADMN there are only options of Y or N. Is this correct? The auditor's don't like users having administrative rights to batch jobs. I was hoping I could limit the user to their own jobs.

Yes that is correct - if you give them Y on S_BTCH_ADMI. The only

way I can think of to limit the user's access to their own jobs

is to create a transaction variant - SHD0 - and make the

user name field display only.
