simulate idoc transaction

Hi All,

I'm new to Idocs.

Is there a transaction that simulate for example sales

order and gives me the segments I need for the Idoc ??

Michal,

Look at WE19 transaction, you can simulate both outbound and inbound IDOCs here.

Yes, you can see it, there are options for foreground and background processing. You can even debug and find out if there is a problem with the code.
