SHIPMENT CREATE

Hi all.. I am trying to create a shipment using BAPI_SHIPMENT_CREATE but I only need to create a shipment number so I am not passing any delivery number. Is it possible to create such?

Is there any other way where I could create a shipment?

Hi Tin,

I don't think shipment can be created without delivery.

At least in the systems i have seen till today, delivery is mandatory for shipment creation.

But, let me confirm with our SD guy, whether any customizing setting is there...
