Setting attributes for segment types in IDOCS

How to set the attributes for segment like Mandatory Seg,Maximum Number and Minimum Number?And how to add an existing child segment to a parent one?

Hi,

You can use WE31( segment editor) to set the attributes and to create a child segment you have to use WE30 to extend a IDOC.

Create Segment at We31 transaction and once you done then set release.

if you want to set Mandatory,Min ,max then use We30 Transaction

Actually, I am aware of the transactions but dont have any idea exactly how to set the attributes and add to the parent segment..
