set error message in alv grid

I am dealing with alv grid control.

My requirement is like that

Whenever I click outside the alv grid user will get an error message.

Is it possible to set the message if user click outside the grid?

Why do you want to do that?

You can make the grid occupy the entire screen. The the user will not have a option at all.
