SET CURSOR FIELD

We just up-graded to 702 EHP 5 and we are seeing changes to custom Screens. We have a screen with a table control and input fields not part of the table. Before the up-grade it would place the cursor in the frist open field input field, now the program place the cursor in the table. Does any know why this change and if there is a fix with out using SET CURSOR FIELD?

I was able to set the Cursor Position in the other attributes of the screen and this fixed the issue. The note I want to make is that befor EP5 up-grade we did not need to do this.
