Sequence

Hi,

If a company implemented SAP R/3, what is the sequence they will follow in <b>ABAP Development</b>, which one comes first to last (Reports,Enhancements, Data Migration, etc . etc?)

Data migration and reports can be worked on at the same time before implementation (go live). Enhancements probably later as you find out what you need that the system doesn't provide.

Hi Seshu,

From my past experiences, the sequence is something like this.

- Data Migation (Conversion from Legacy System to SAP System)

- Interface (Internal System and External System from/to SAP)

- Enhancement

- Reporting

Data Migration is done first during the implentation for uploading data from the legacy sytem to R/3.

Then based on the customer priority, Development of Reports, ehhancements etc.. takes place.
