Hi Antonio,

If you don't know the correct sequence, you have mainly 2 options:

  1. Create a new TR (for Italians CR )
Manually move all your objects from the sub-tasks of all your TRs into the sub-task of your new TR.
Double check if you did not miss anything.
    Check it again.
Delete your old TRs, lock all objects in your new TR and release it.
  2. Release all of them in any order you like. (I usually sort them by the TR number.)
They might run into error when being imported to the quality system.
Create a new TR. In SE01 use the "Include Objects..." button and add all your TRs into this new TR.

When you are done release this collective TR. This should solve your errors (if you had any).

This is the safest way to do it. If you were to actually sequence them and get it wrong - how would you reverse it?

Hi, I've already released the TR (and linked sub-tasks) as usual with the following sequence: 1. SVIK913656 , 2. SVIK913658 and 3. SVIK913665. When I've tried to import SVIK913656 in quality it run into error (n. 8). How I can come back an use your procedure? Thanks and regards. Antonio

Ignore those released transports, create a new one as described and send it to Q.

Thanks,

Juwin

Just follow option 2:

- Create a new TR

- Add all 3 TRs with the "Include Objects..." button into it.

- Release this new TR.

- Import this new TR.

Delete the transports from the import queue. Create a new transport. Import it.

Hi, As shown in the screen shot, I've created a new one TR and change the type of the related sub-task. So, I click on the TR SVIK913679 and select "include objects". Now, what's the next steps? Select "Object list from Request" ? To include all the object, Should i select only the 1st level TR number, only the sub-task TR number or both? Should i tick "With documentation". After this should be proceed to release the TR? Thanks and regards. Antonio

Hi, I've added all the 1st level TR and transported the new one in quality. It seems ok, only a warning (4). Can I check the details of the warning to understand the problem? Can I block the old TR? Thanks and regards. Antonio

Hi Antonio,

Warnings are not that important.

If you would like to know anyway, just go to SE01, "Display" tab, "Logs" button.

If you want to block the old TRs, you need to delete them from the import queue as Matthew suggested it.

Why sequence it at all? Would it be possible to merge all of them into one TR and release 1 single TR?

Thanks,

Juwin

...and next time around, since this seems to be logically related stuff, put it into one single transport request right away.

If tests in follow systems are required, use the "transport of copies" approach to keep the original request open until it is ready to go to production.
