Hi All
I am facing a problem when I try to copy a set of values say from an excel sheet into my select option using the small push button present on the select option, I do not see the copied values, however when I execute the report I see that the result that appears is based on some of the values that I had copied however it is not the complete set... what is the best way to resolve this?

How many columns do you have in your excel? Best way is copy the source columns(max 2) using Ctrl+C and paste in the mutlple selection screen using clipboard button(2nd button from botton right) of the pop-up window.
Other option is move the source columns into separate txt file and save it. Select the file from one the button (3rd from bottom right). This should work.

Hi
Firstly you need to access Select multiple values and use the option Copy from Clipboard. However it will copy the maximum of 2 columns per time.
Kind regards

I am copying only 1 column from the excel sheet using ctrl c and then pasting it in the multiple selection screen of the pop up window. After I paste, I see no values in the multiple selection screen..basically ctrl+c doesn't seem to be working... any suggestions?

Hello,
If you want to copy paste the data from excel, you do a ctrl+C in the excel sheet, click on the multiple entries button in front of select-option, and then click on the button with Tooltip, upload from clipboard, it will copy all the copied data from excel into select-option.
Hope this helps

Hi,
If you copy 50 values from excel and try to paste in the select option multiple entries tab using ctrlv only the first 8 entries get copied and that is what the result you are getting for those 8 values. In order to paste all the values, as said above, do not use ctrlv instead click on the impot from text file (shiftF11) and then click on upload from clipboard (ctrlshift+F1).
Thanks,
Sri.
