SELECTING MULTIPLE ROWS IN ALV GRID WITHOUT CONTROL KEY

Hi Experts,

I am using CL_GUI_ALV_GRID to display an ALV. There in output I want to select multiple rows without help of or holding 'CONTROL' key in keyboard. I want to select multiple rows randomly by simply clicking buttons of each row.

By seeing some posts in SCN, I have passed value to layout as below:

 

gt_layout-sel_mode      = 'A'.          (DATA : gt_layout TYPE lvc_s_layo. )

even I tried with values 'X', 'D' and 'B' too... but no change.

And passed this layout to method : SET_TABLE_FOR_FIRST_DISPLAY as below

   CALL METHOD o_grid->SET_TABLE_FOR_FIRST_DISPLAY

      EXPORTING

        i_save                        = 'A'

        is_layout                     = gt_layout

Please help.

Hi,

You cannot select row randomly in ALV without a ctrl button( not possible ), you can place the mouse pointer on a row and drag till the required row( but not random rows ). One option is to add check box as a column.
