How to put lable for select option field ?

you must be developing a select option for a particular report.

Open the report in se38. From menu bar GO TO -> Text Elements -> Selection Texts. Here you will get a list of the select options and there There you need to mention text in front of select option and activate the same.

if your select-option already exists and is activated, then use the menu bar:

goto->textelements->selection texts

SELECTION-SCREEN ULINE /12(10).

here u double click on the text-001 it goes to text-elements screen there u give lable for your select options.
