Search Term Failed

HI all,

This issue regarding RUSSAIN language.

My RUSSAIN user trying to search for names with search term NAME1(first3 letters+*).

Search term is failing when I try to search with name1 to find corresponding Names.

Eg: Name 1 … JHON COOPER… I am searching with  JHO*.

But for RUSSAIN Language my search is failed as I used to login with Language RU and I am searching same as mentioned above Eg with RUSSAIN Letters(serilic).

I am getting “No values for the selection “message at toolbar.

Where the problem might be?

Kindly help me regarding this issue.

Hi,

For the searchhelp to work..The name should be in russian..you will not get the translation automatically..Which table is it???

Yeah, i am copying name1 from LFA1 table to search.

I also logged in with Language RU.

I am not typing the letters just copy & paste from Table entry.

Hi,

Since the values are not in Russian and in english...your search help will not work..

Also the table LFA1 is not language dependant..you can enter the values either in english or in russian...

Hmm..Do one thing..Go to SE16..

Give the name1 value in russian..And then check..if the record is getting displayed...

Yeah in se16 i am getting the name with the same search term as i used in XK03.

BUt i am not getting in xk03.

but as i am searching in xk03 fro vendor with name it is failing.

where the problem actually exist?
