Hey friends,

After creating search help for a field in a table ,how to make it effect in the table in SE11?

hi,

You must give the search help name in the data element level(further Characteristics) of the corresponding field.

Click on the field where you want to assign the search help and click on the "Srch Help" button. Enter the search help name and continue.

dbl click on that fieldname one pop up will come and there you can see search help for field push button.

click that assign your search help there.

goto table in that table select the field to which u r going to give search help

then click the button serach help next to foreign key & enter the search help name

Hi Rao,

In SE11,

Go to the Data Element level of the field. Under tab 'Further Characteristics' you can attach the Search Help you created.

go to se11 and there select data type ,give data element name and then in the tab "Further Characterstics", u will find option to enter search help name there..save and activate..

wherevr tht data element will be used search help wil automatically get activated for tht..
