Hi Experts,

Can any body explain me how to create a elementary search help and assign it to one collective search help. Please can any one explain with an example? And how to crate a search help with restrictions and with out restrictions. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

You can create a search help from SE11.

You might need a HELPVIEW if you dont have all the data in a table or existing view.

Then you can create import and export parameters to the search help.

Also decide on the list output, with dialog etc.

Then create a collective search help and list your elimentary search helps under the Included searchhelps tab.

hi,

u can create both elimentary search help and collective search help in transaction SE11....

In order to assign an elementary search help to a collective, first u have to create an elementary search help in tran. SE11 then after that u have to assign that elementary search help in the collective search help by clicking on the TAB 'Included Search Helps'.

All this can be done in a single transaction SE11.
