can a field defined in the stvarv tcode be associated as a search help in an input field of a report?

or another method if you can delete the values contained in a search help from reports (I don't want to create a custom one)

The only place I could find a standard program displaying a list of variant variables (defined in transaction code STVARV) is in the variant maintenance. It works without search help.
