search help not generated

hi,

could not get search helps for custom tables automatically.I have defined value table ...could postt some documentation on search helps

Assigning value table restricts from having some other value, than the one thats in the table..

for search help u need to create one in se11 and assign it to the domain of the data element...

Also note that by just assigning the Value table to the domain does not implement an F4 help.

You need to assign a check table for the element in the table to get a f4 help..

Hi,

A search help should be assigned to a field of a custom table.

1. select the field for which search help is needed.

2.click on the search help button and specify the search help which is newly created or a existing search help accordingly.
