In transaction VA01 I want to attach a search help sub tab in material searc help.

How I attach a sub tab into existing search help and where will I write code for validation.

Hi,

For material standard search help is MAT1 .... create an elementary search help with the desired fields and attach the same to the MAT1 .... under included search helps....if you want to restrict values based on some condition ....create a function module and attach the same under search help exit.......also see the standard fm for ref . F4IF_SHLP_EXIT_EXAMPLE

actually I want to create new search tab with parameter matnr matkl and charg.
