se80, always start source code based, how to?

i'm always working in se80 source code based view

     (as per http://help.sap.de/saphelp_nw74/helpdata/en/4b/2015f1ec4f0120e10000000a42189c/content.htm )

yet, whenever I start se80 it starts in the form base view;

Can I get the 7.40 sapgui se80 to (remember to) always start source code based?

FWIW

- there was also always a feature/bug, where the button "Source Code-Based" Button will dissappear

I would then press CTRL+SHIFT+0(the number zero) to switch to source-code-based;

now I got a new PC, Windows, logon,

and CTRL+SHIFT+0 no longer works;

does anyone know how else to switch to the source code base mode when the "source-code-based" button has disappeared?

is a Windows issue;

this solution worked for me:

(note, in SapGui 7.30 you may have to first focus/click onto the class name in the

lower left hand pane/window before CTRL+SHIFT+0 works anyway)

problem: CTRL+SHIFT+0 does not work

problem occured after changing to Windows 8

solution: if you do not need the CTRL+SHIFT Windows Hotkey...

then:

in German:

a) open "Systemsteuerung" (in English that's: control panel)

   - open silly-color-square view of Windows 8  (pressing the WINDOWS key)

   - click "PC-Einstellungen"

   - click "Systemsteuerung"

b) under "Zeit, Sprache, Region"

    click: "Eingabemethoden ändern"

c) click: "Erweiterte Einstellungen"

d) somewhere in the middle, click "Abkürzungstasten der Spracheleiste ändern"

e) choose register "Erweiterte Tastatureinstellung"

    mark the line with "Zwischen Eingabesprachen"

    click Button "Tastenkombination ändern..."

f) right, under "Tastaturlayout wechseln" you should see

    the radio button "STRG+Umschalt" marked

    =>so that's why CTRL+SHIFT+0 is not working in SAP

    =>... pick e.g. radio button "Nicht zugewiesen"

    => click button OK

click another button OK

click button "Speichern"

close "Systemsteuerung\...." window

(I then opened the SapGui and the CTRL+SHIFT+0 worked)
