How to use the above transaction ?

Hi,

This transaction is used to compare the code in different system.

U can compare two programs side by side.

If you want to compare the code of teh program in Quality system with PRODuction or PROD with DEV it is possible here.

It will compare and give u the differnce between the programs.

Sometimes u might want to check whther the correct version is available in PROD or not, in that case<b> COMPARE DIFFERENT SYTEMS</b> button is available.

If u choose the sytem numbers it will comapre and give teh code.

this is used only to check the code diffrences by spliting the screen into 2 parts of the 2 diffrent programs.

That is for comparing with the Quality and PRoduction sytem.

Specify the system and client number from the F4 help available in RFC destination.

give the same program name in two programs .

put active in the top and inactive in the below for the two and say display .

this is used to compare the two programs

Hi,

It is used to compare the two programs or two functions or classes in two diferent systems, or between the active and the inactive versions...

when the program is transported to other client and it is giving problem, then to compare the two programs whethet the progarm is transported correctlyy or not..

we use this transaction..

Hi,

You just need to input 2 program names and it will display the source code of the 2 programs in a split screen 1 in each half. you can also remote compare the same program or different programs in the transaction.
