hi im trying to edit a structure in se11 its say

Object * locked in

request with status 'Release started'

Choose 'Display object' or 'Cancel'.

and im not able to change its getting displayed only

how should i edit it....

looks like some other developer might be editing the same structure.... and locked it on his transport request..

hi,

it seems some other is also editing it right now ,

so you can close its sessions using transaction SM12 and after that u can edit that structure

hi,

steps to unlock:

go to SM12==> give devloper name who has locked that structure right now and the client name ==> and press the LIST tab ===> it will show all the name of tables structures etc which is currently locked by that user or devloper===>then just put the cursor on the name of that structure u want to unlock ===> then go to LOCK ENTRY tab ===> then DELETE

it will unlock that structure

Hi,

steps to unlock

go to SE93

--> give transaction as SM12

--> click on display

-->Now double click on program

-->Now execute the program

-->click on list, it will show all the entries

--> select the entry u want to delete (i.e your respective structure)

-->click on the delete button

--> now you can edit the structure

if your object is locked in any transport request then you can unlock it by using t-code SE03.

Go to SE03 under the requests/tasks you can see the the icon for unloack objects. Give the TR no and all the objects of this TR are will unlocked.
