DC is Distribution Channel. Field VTWEG of table VBAK. It is tied to the sales organizations, field VKORG of table VBAK.

Check tables for these fields are TVKO and TVKOV.

Delivery chalan is nothing but a receipt to customer,in detail see when a product is send thro a agency ,delivery chalan it that these goods r arrived to that place with these quaninty.

DC (Distribution Channel) is channel through which saleable materials or services reach customers. Typical distribution channels include wholesale, retail, and direct sales. You can assign a distribution channel to one or more sales organizations. You allocate one or more plants to a distribution channel.

I wanted to share my understanding about Distribution Channel..

The Sales and Distribution (SD) Organization structure in SAP is meant to structure an organization according to its sales requirements.

The primary organizational units in SD are sales area and customers.

Sales Area = Sales organization + <b>Distribution Channel</b> + Division.

Definations:

<b>(1) Sales Organization:</b>

A sales organization is the highest organization level in SD. Legally, a sales organization is included in exactly one company code. You can assign one or more plants to a sales organization. Within a sales organization, you can define your own master data. This allows a sales organization to have its own customer and material master data. A sales organization cannot share any master data with other sales organizations.

<b>(2) Distribution Channel:</b>

Channel through which saleable materials or services reach customers. Typical distribution channels include wholesale, retail, and direct sales. You can assign a distribution channel to one or more sales organizations. You allocate one or more plants to a distribution channel.

<b>(3) Division:</b>

An organizational unit based on responsibility for sales or profits from saleable materials or services.

this is jeevan a new member of sdn family i would like to share my understanding of dc(DISTRIBUTION CHANNEL) in sap sd module,like other are it is including field and tablename.

--dc is used in assinging of organizational units with in stucture.

--dc in used in determinations.

--and in which channel goods are reaching through the customer,it is a concept through company can identify their revenues in which they are strong at either at retaai o whole sale so that they hav their strategys in marketing.
