SCREEN PAINTER ACTIVATION

HI EXPERTS

i am trying design the screens in the SE51 in that i am not able to see the screen painter there..i tried it in

GUI VERSION 640 then i uninstalled the GUI and installed the GUI VERSION 7.10 even though it is showing the same in the SM53 scereen. so plz HELP ME.................................very urgent.

Did u instyall the patches for this?

If not install them.

Hi,

did you install the development tools during the installation of the SAP GUI? They contain the software you need for the graphical screen painter.

hi,

Did you try clicking the Layout tab in Se51... it will take you to Screen painter where you can drag and drop custom control.. pushbuttons etc..

Hi,

Have you set the Graphical Layout Editor Settting? For thei you have to go to , Utilities- > settings. the pop up will come with tabs. Select 'Screen Painter' tab. And set the Graphical Layout Editor checkbox.

If you have done it already, and u have installed SAPGUI710, then network connection speed could be the problem.
